欧洲哥伦布(Columbu s)自由飞行试验室以7km/s的速度绕地球轨道飞行时,利用全球定位系统(GPS)可不依靠地面,在星上确定其瞬时位置,精度优于100m。欧洲航天飞机赫尔姆斯(Hermes)与哥伦布飞行单元进行交会机动时,它们也要利用GPS的测量数据去计算交会的距离。赫尔姆斯首次执行其飞行任务时,将不采用星上导航手段,而准备使用GPS导航技术为首次飞行任务和着陆提供导航。本文介绍在欧洲空间研究和技术中心(ESTEC)无线导航试验实验室进行的GPS现场测量实验。实验中采用了一种新型的GPS综合导航和姿态确定系统(GINAS)。
When flying around orbit at 7km / s, the Columbus Free Flight Laboratory in Europe uses GPS to determine its instantaneous position on the satellite, with a resolution of better than 100m, independent of the ground. As Eurocopter Hermes and the Columbus Flying Unit maneuver, they also use GPS measurements to calculate the rendezvous distances. For the first time in its mission, Helms will not use on-board navigation but will use GPS navigation technology to provide navigation for its first mission and landing. This article describes GPS field measurements conducted at the Wireless Navigation Laboratory of the European Space Research and Technology Center (ESTEC). In the experiment, a new type of GPS integrated navigation and attitude determination system (GINAS) was adopted.
