China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, or Shanghai Free Trade Zone or Shanghai Free Trade Zone, is a free trade zone located in Shanghai. In August 2013, the State Council officially approved the establishment of China (Shanghai) Free Trade Zone. When the experimental zone was established, it took Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone as the core, complemented by Airport Bonded Zone and Yangshan Harbor Lingang New City, becoming a new experimental field for China’s economy.
