1 “line of sight” is “light”, and “light” is the “line of sight” This understanding is wrong. Line of sight is everyday language and refers to the imaginary line between the human eye and the object when the person looks at the object with his eyes. The physical description of light refers to the path that the light emitted from the light source or reversed from the surface of the object (boundary) passes through in a vacuum or other transparent matter. In short, It is the route of transmission of light. Without distinguishing the difference in the meaning and usage of these two concepts, there are often mistakes or jokes in solving physical problems. If we explain the phenomenon of “seeing things behind opaque objects”, we say that “the line of sight from the eyes is blocked,” and “the light from the eyes can’t reach...” is obviously wrong; the former is not only the latter The eye is treated as a light-emitting object (light source), and the imaginary line of sight is treated and used as light.
