Honeysuckle is a dried flower bud of the honeysuckle family Lonicera japonica Thunb., red glandular lonicera L onicera hypoglauca Miq, honeysuckle L onicera confusa Dc., or hairy Lonicera L. onicera dasystyla Rehd., or an early blooming flower. It has the functions of clearing heat, detoxifying, cooling and removing wind and heat. The author discovered a kind of honeysuckle plant during inspection work during the SARS period.
