As awareness of regional activities continues to increase, the role of teachers is also constantly changing, shifting from dominance in collective activities to subordinate position in regional activities. On the one hand, teachers are worried that completely letting go of children’s free activities can not well promote the level of children’s learning and development. On the other hand, the decentralization of regions has made teachers lack of skills and can not guide them. This kind of worry reflects two problems. First, teachers may not understand the nature of regional activities, may not yet be aware of the significance of children’s spontaneous activities, and second, they over-interpret the significance of teachers’ role as mentors in regional activities.
