根据自己在展厅里观察所获得的经验,人们在作品面前往往会以“意图”作为关键词进行提问,仿佛只有说明了意图,才可以开始解读这些图像。长期以来视觉语言教育本身的欠缺以及观看方式的惯性,使得观众宁愿相信关于这件作品的一堆话语,即便这些话语可能比作品本身更加深刻;或者几乎偏离作者思路。不可否认,有相当一些阐释显得生动而且可靠,然而创作的意图本身是难以清晰地借语言而呈现的。这样的悖论,在很多作品产生之时就已经端倪初见。因此,当我想象人们遭遇“水族馆”这样的作品,还是先行
According to the experience we have observed in the exhibition halls, people often ask “intention” as a key word in front of their works, as if the intention was only explained before they could be interpreted. For a long time, the lack of visual language education itself and the inertia of viewing methods made the audience prefer to believe a bunch of discourses on the work, even though the discourses may be more profound than the work itself or almost deviate from the author’s thinking. Admittedly, quite a few explanations seem vivid and credible, yet the intent of creation itself is difficult to articulate clearly in words. Such a paradox has already taken shape when many works are produced. Therefore, when I imagine people encounter “Aquarium ” such works, or first
