南关镇地处灵石县最南端,由原南河片的四个乡镇合并而成,因地理条件较差、区域环境复杂、经济基础薄弱、教育设施落后,教育的均衡发展在一定程度上受到制约。近年来,南关镇紧紧抓住国家实施农村远程教育工程的历史机遇,立足科学发展,创造性地开展工作,提出了“以管理促使用,以使用促提高,以提高促质量”的工作思路,采取整合设备资源、加强教师培训、深化应用教研、强化过程管理等措施,以镇统筹,因地制宜,整体推进,教学质量得到快速提升。
