1987年国家教委委托华东师范大学对我国十五个省、自治区、直辖市初中三年级语文教学进行调查和评价。这次调查评价目的是为了做好普及九年义务制教育工作,推动中学语文教学改革,改进和加强师资培训工作,为大面积提高语文教学质量提出比较科学的依据和建议。这是一个意义重大的教育科研项目,是一项由中央和地方、教育行政部门、科研所、高教和普教各方面通力合作的系统工程。此次调查评价又是一项科学性很强的工作,运用了教育统计原理,采用现代化手段对全国初中三年级进行抽样调查、测试,进行定量定性分析评价。1987年初开始准备,5月31日同时在各类学校抽样调查、测
In 1987, the State Education Commission commissioned East China Normal University to conduct surveys and evaluations of Chinese teaching in junior high schools in China’s 15 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government. The purpose of this survey and evaluation is to do a good job of popularizing the nine-year compulsory education, promote the reform of Chinese teaching in middle schools, improve and strengthen the training of teachers, and put forward more scientific basis and suggestions for improving the quality of Chinese teaching in large areas. This is a significant educational and scientific research project. It is a systematic project that involves all aspects of cooperation between the central and local governments, educational administrations, research institutes, higher education, and general education. This investigation and evaluation is also a highly scientific work. It uses the principles of education statistics and adopts modern methods to conduct sample surveys and tests for junior high school students throughout the country to perform quantitative qualitative analysis and evaluation.
