20世纪60年代,马尔库塞积极参与西方学生运动,宣传“新社会主义的革命理论”。在此期间他撰写了《论解放》(Versuch ueber die Befreiung,1969)、《反革命与革命》(Konterrevolution und Revohe,1972)以及《艺术的永恒性——反对规范性的马克思主义美学》(Die Permanenz der Kunst,Wider eine bestimmte marxistische Aesthetik,1977)等著作,建立了一新的马克思主义美学理论。他认为,只有美学才能有效地贯彻社会革命,要建立革命美学,必须首先培养出入的新敏感性。
In the 1960s, Marcuse actively participated in the Western student movement and publicized “the revolutionary theory of new socialism.” During this period he authored Versuch ueber die Befreiung (1969), “Counterrevolution and Revolution” (1972) and “Permanence of Art - Anti-Normative Marxist Aesthetics” (Die Permanenz der Kunst, Wider eine bestimmte marxistische Aesthetik, 1977) and established a new theory of Marxist aesthetics. In his opinion, only aesthetics can effectively carry out the social revolution. To establish a revolutionary aesthetics, we must first cultivate the new sensitivity of entering and leaving.
