我国加入 WTO,“教育服务”必然逐步开放,办学主体必然多样化。跨国公司、教育机构和海内外教育商必然把对教育的投资视为最重要的战略性投资。这对各类专业人才的培养提出了更高更新的要求。特别是在我们面对跨出国门、走向世界、参与国际竞争的客观形势下,各类人才都必须具有较高的用英语进行交流的能力。新的形势对英语教学提出了挑战。新的历史条件下英语教学的目标具体表现为以下四个方面:(1)语法能力:就是掌握语言规则知识。它是确切理解和表达语言的字面意思所需的知识和技能;(2)话语能力:即用一连串的句子按一定的逻辑关系组
China’s accession to the WTO, “education services ” will inevitably be gradually opened up, the subject of running a school must be diversified. Transnational corporations, educational institutions and educators both at home and abroad are bound to view investment in education as the most important strategic investment. This training of all types of professionals put forward higher requirements for updating. Especially in the face of our objective situation of going abroad, going to the world and participating in international competition, all kinds of talents must have a high level of ability to communicate in English. The new situation poses a challenge to English teaching. The new historical conditions of English teaching objectives specifically for the following four aspects: (1) grammar ability: that is to master the knowledge of language rules.
