英语教学是语言教学,离不开文化教育。《英语课程标准》指出:“在学习英语的过程中,接触和了解外国文化有益于对英语的理解和使用,有益于加深对中华民族优秀传统文化的认识与热爱,有益于接受属于全人类先进文化的熏陶,有益于培养国际意识。”这就要求教师在英语教学中,根据教学内容采取合理有效的教学策略,导入西方国家文化,提高学生对中西文化差异的敏感性和适应性,培养跨文化意识。
