21世纪全球经济一体化步伐进一步加快,中国与世界各国的交流更加频繁。在交流合作过程中我们也急需具有高素质及综合素质的英语人才,这也对我们的大学英语教学提出了新的要求。即在教授词汇语法知识的同时加强文化内容的输入,也就是说既要培养学生的语言能力,又要培养他们恰当的使用语言进行跨文化交际的能力。我们大学英语教学培养的应该是英语语言素质和文化素质的复合型人才。这样他们才能在以后的跨文化交际过程中成功地跨越文化障碍,有效地同外国人进行跨文化的交流,从而使用好英语这个交流工具。所以在外语教学中加强文化教学,培养学生的跨文化交际意识和能力显得尤为重要。
In the 21st century, the pace of global economic integration has further accelerated and exchanges between China and other countries in the world have been more frequent. In the course of exchange and cooperation, we also urgently need English talents with high quality and comprehensive qualifications. This also poses new requirements for our college English teaching.
