很长一段时间以来,中国学生对英语的学习都处于学之无趣、弃之不得的尴尬境地。在传统大学英语教学中,教师一直强调语法、单词的讲授,但教学效果不甚理想。学生无法流畅准确地使用英语作为沟通手段,很多学生记忆的单词仍然无法有效积极地调动出来。这在很大程度上因为学生缺乏词汇组块概念。本文对普通大学生的英语词汇组块习得及运用现状进行调查,同时探讨词汇组块习得对大学英语教学的意义。
For a long time, Chinese students’ learning of English has always been in the awkward position of learning boring. In traditional college English teaching, teachers always emphasize grammar and vocabulary teaching, but the teaching effect is not ideal. Students can not use English fluently and accurately as a means of communication, and many words that students remember still can not be effectively and positively mobilized. This is due in large part to the lack of vocabulary block concepts in students. This paper investigates the status quo of acquisition and use of English vocabulary chunks by ordinary college students and explores the significance of vocabulary chunk learning to college English teaching.
