作者认为,社区概念的界定必须将空间关系引入,使之具有可操作性。社区是介于邻里和区域之问的社会实体,是社会学的一个研究单位,在严格限定和选择的基础上对其进行整体性描述、分析和解释,以达到对某一社会类型和某一社会通则的理解。分清邻里、区域与社区的内涵,可以避免由于仅以互动及文化等过于抽象特征界定社区所导致的概念模糊,使社区研究的对象、内容、目的更加明确。
The author believes that the definition of community concept must introduce the spatial relationship to make it workable. Community is a social entity that intervenes in neighborhoods and regions. It is a research unit of sociology that describes, analyzes and interprets it on the basis of strict definition and choice so as to achieve the goal of defining a social type and a certain Understanding of the general rules of society. Differentiating the connotations of neighborhoods, regions and communities can avoid the ambiguity of concepts caused by the community being defined only by the interaction and cultural excessively abstract features, and make the object, content and purpose of community studies more explicit.
