教育哲学,研究教育领域中的哲学问题,用哲学的观点解释教育的本质、目的、价值和方法等,揭示教育的普遍规律。它与哲学、教育原理、教育史等密切联系,既是哲学的一个特殊分支,又是教育理论体系中的一门基础学科。教育理论与哲学结缘很早。在古代,哲学著作中往往包含有教育思想;而教育著作也受哲学思想的指导和影响。19世纪初,教育学形成一门独立的学科。自此之后,西方有些学者开始用哲学的观点和方法研究教育学,使这两门学科逐步结合起来。19世纪末,德国哲学家罗生克兰茨(1805—1897)著有《教育学体系》一书。后来,美国教育学家布莱克特(1836—1911)用英文翻译此书时,把书名译为“教育哲学”。这是世界上最早出现这一学科的名称。进入20世纪初,研究教育领域中的哲学问题的
Philosophy of education, study the philosophical problems in the field of education, and explain the nature, purpose, value and method of education from the philosophical point of view to reveal the universal law of education. Educational theory and philosophy are very early. In the early 19th century, pedagogy formed an independent discipline. Since then, some Western scholars began to use philosophical perspectives and methods to study pedagogy, so that these two disciplines gradually combine.
