Linear Technology introduces the LTC2498, a 24-bit, 16-channel delta-sigma-delta ADC. The device has a front-end design that directly digitizes multiple sensor signals. The LTC2498’s Easy Drive ™ design allows for an average differential input current of zero. Allows high-impedance input sources to be measured without an internal buffer. This patented sampling scheme simplifies the design of the front-end signal conditioning circuitry, allowing the ADC to be directly driven using bridges, RTDs, thermocouples and other high-impedance sensors.
