This year’s International Esperanto Conference was held in Berlin, Germany, from July 31, 1999 to August 7, 1999, and 2,712 people from 66 countries signed up. The All-China Esperanto Association and the Chinese news agencies Tan Xiuzhu, Wang Jianbing, and Wang Ruixiang attended the conference and participated in many activities.
