Amadeus w.Grabau is a great master of geology and paleontology spanning the 19th and 20th centuries. At the invitation of Cai Yuanpei and Ding Wenjiang at 1920, he came to China as professor of geology at Peking University and presided over the paleontology of the Geological Survey of Ministry of Commerce and Industry
