我国著名化学家傅鹰教授是全国政协五届常务委员、中国科学院数理化学部委员、北京大学原副校长、杰出的教育家和国际上知名的胶体化学专家。他和夫人张锦是1949年放弃在美国的优越条件,毅然返回祖国的。他们说:回到中国,科研条件当然比美国差,但是我们回国主要是从事教学,用我们的知识为祖国培养一大批科学人材,在年轻人中培养出中国的爱因斯坦! Professor Fu Ying, a famous chemist in China, is a member of the Standing Committee of the Fifth National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, a member of the Department of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a former vice president of Peking University, an outstanding educator, and an internationally renowned colloidal chemistry expert. He and his wife, Zhang Jin, gave up the favorable conditions in the United States in 1949 and resolutely returned to the motherland. They said: Back to China, the conditions for scientific research are certainly worse than those of the United States, but we are mainly engaged in teaching. We use our knowledge to cultivate a large number of scientific talents for the motherland and cultivate Chinese Einstein among young people!
