In the analysis of the copolymer product, the authors propose a method for the quantitative analysis of each component of the copolymer product by volume exclusion chromatography. However, when the molecular weight of the copolymer and the homopolymer are similar, they need to be separated by other methods such as dissolution and classification. The use of differences in adsorption effects, the choice of the appropriate developing solvent, TLC on silica gel plates, often make the copolymer and homopolymer for effective separation.
