Pre-school education to improve children’s future achievements have been the international academic consensus. Using PISA 2012 cross-country data for comparison found that pre-primary education participation rates, value added and resilience to maths were higher in high-income countries than in middle-income and low-income countries; Western Europe, North America, and East Asia Participation in pre-school education in the Pacific, the added value of math and resilience are also high. Multivariate regression analysis found that every 1% increase in participation rate in pre-school education can lead to an increase of 1.4% and 4% in value-added of mathematical literacy and an increase of the anti-stress ratio, respectively, reflecting that preschool education can not only improve students’ future academic achievement but also promote education fairness.
