The Brazilian railway Victoria (EFVM) recently ordered 15 32 81kW Dash9 electric drive diesel locomotives from GE of the United States. The total price of these locomotives is set at 37.5 million U.S. dollars and will be delivered by the end of June 2000. They will be used to replace 15 older locomotives that will be resold to the Central Atlantic Railroad
