多少年来,总有那么一种习惯:逢年过节或工作之余,打开收音机听几段秦腔。近几年来,我更希望能在一个较短的时间里,集中对几十年间的秦腔唱腔艺术,系统地加以欣赏。这个愿望终于实现了。一九七九年,在人们欢庆中华人民共和国成立三十周年的大喜日子里,我习惯地打开收音机,准备听几段秦腔。正巧,一调台,就听到电波传来了陕西人民广播电台《百名秦腔演员唱腔欣赏》的唱段。我聚精会神地听完播音。只是这次并未听到“百名”。直到一九八一年春节,我才用了十天时间,每次以85分钟听完这套节目。节目全长821分钟,其中唱段108段,708分钟,演员简介113分钟。听后,我深感这套精心构思,严加撷取,富有创新精神
