我校是江苏省教改先进单位,学校的教育教学工作多次受到省、市、县主管部门的表彰。通过培训学习,再结合自己的工作实践,我深深体会到,办好一所学校,关键在于充分调动广大教师的积极性。作为校长,应该讲究科学的领导艺术和工作方法,把教师紧紧团结在一起,形成学校工作的凝聚力。群策群力,才能办好学校。调动教师的工作积极性,首先应该尊重他们的人格,承认他们的劳动。教师作为以教书育人为己任的特殊的知识分子群体,他们最需要的不是金钱和显赫的地位,而是领导、家长和全社会的理解、尊重和信任。1987年,我担任校长时,特别强调实行校长负责制一定要和教职工民主管理紧密结合。为此,我带头支持学校的工会、共青团工作,建立了工会、共青团的各项工作制度,不断拓宽和理顺教师参与学校管理的渠道。找们定期发放意见卡、信息反馈卡,教师对校长有什么意见,对学校工作有什么建议,可随时填卡反映,正确的意见被采纳后,年终给予适当的奖励;设立校长接待日,每月1日、15日由我或副校长负责接待,主要为反映“个性”问题的教师提供方便;经常深入到教师中去,和他们交朋友,注意捕捉他们的“第一信号”,了解他们在想些什么,干些什么,随时帮助他们解决工作、生活上的实际困难;举办尊师会,组织毕业生探望母校教师,给老教师祝寿,通过这一系列的活动,来增强教师从事教育工作 Our school is an advanced unit of education reform in Jiangsu Province.
