中国改革开放以来,政治、经济、教育等方面逐渐与国际接轨。国际交流的迫切需要促进了中国英语教学的发展,也为英语教学不断提出更新更高的要求。经过二十多年不懈的努力,我国英语教学取得了显著成就,这是不争的事实。为了检测督促学生的英语学习,各级各类考试也在不断改进提升,越来越重视测试学生语言应用与交流的能力,即加强对写、译、说能力的考察,主观题的比重越来越大。作为英语教师,我们不能不反思过去那种过度重视培养阅读与听力等语言输入能力,轻视写、译、说等输出能力的培养的教学模式。我们必须清楚地认识到:英语语言输出能力的培养这一课题已经摆在我们面前。加强英文写作在英语教学中的地位已成为外语教学中的一种必然趋势。 Since China’s reform and opening up, its political, economic and educational areas have gradually become in line with international standards. We must clearly recognize that the issue of cultivating the ability of English language output has been placed before us. Strengthening the position of English writing in English teaching has become an inevitable trend in foreign language teaching.
