2010年10月25日,纪念中国人民志愿军抗美援朝出国作战60周年座谈会在北京人民大会堂举行。座谈会由中央宣传部、外交部、民政部、解放军总政治部和北京市共同举办。会前,中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席胡锦涛亲切会见了参加过抗美援朝的老同志和志愿军英模代表。中共中央政治局常委、国家副主席、中央军委副主席习近平一同会见,并在座谈会上发表讲话。中共中央政治局委员、中央军委副主席徐才厚主持座谈会。
On October 25, 2010, the Symposium on Commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of Combating the Chinese People’s Volunteer Army during the Anti-US-aid Korea’s Going out of China was held in Beijing’s Great Hall of the People. The symposium was jointly organized by the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the PLA General Political Department and Beijing Municipality. Prior to the meeting, Hu Jintao, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, chairman of the State Council and chairman of the Central Military Commission cordially met with veteran comrades and volunteer army representatives who participated in the anti-US aid and aid efforts. Xi Jinping, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau, vice chairman of the Central Military Commission and vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, met together and made a speech at the forum. Xu Caihou, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission, presided over the forum.
