近年来,北京市琉璃河水泥有限公司为缓解垃圾围城及飞灰处置困境,自主研发了飞灰水洗处置技术,并于2009年建成国内首条垃圾焚烧飞灰处置示范线,成立熟料制备车间飞灰无害化处置工段。2012年11月6日国内首条垃圾焚烧飞灰无害化处置生产线投产,有效解决了北京市垃圾焚烧飞灰处置难题,同时也标志着我国处置垃圾焚烧飞灰技术世界
