译介话语是承担着思潮引入的重要手段,思潮引入又是时代主题变化的重要标志。1928年以前的《东方杂志》包含了丰富的译介话语。为顺应时代潮流,《东方杂志》在1911和1920年进行了两次改版,导致其译介话语由科学话语向政治话语、文艺思潮话语的转变,这种转变不仅反映了杂志办刊风格和关注重心的转移,而且反映了不同历史阶段的政治和文化风貌。《东方杂志》的改版是中国近现代杂志由于时代主题转变而改变出版风格的一个鲜活例证。
