由中国科技大学的潘建伟和维也纳大学的Anton Zeilinger教授领导的两个研究组,目前正在开展合作创建第一条连接亚洲和欧洲的跨洲际量子通信网络。如果这一目标得以实现,两国的科学家将在全球建立起量子互联网的第一条连接。中国在十年时间内已在量子科学研究领域逐渐崛起,此外,中国还计划在欧美之前,于2016年发射第一颗专门用于量子科学实验的卫星。
Two research groups, led by Pan Jianwei of the China University of Science and Technology and Professor Anton Zeilinger of the University of Vienna, are currently working together to create the first inter-continental quantum communication network linking Asia and Europe. If this goal is to be achieved, scientists from both countries will establish the first connection to the Quantum Internet globally. In a decade, China has gradually emerged in the field of quantum science research. In addition, China plans to launch the first satellite dedicated to quantum science experiments in 2016 before Europe and the United States.
