高管薪酬水平和增长速度一直都是备受关注的问题,本文利用我国上市银行的薪酬数据,讨论了管理者才能、权力与高管薪酬的关系,检验了市场规模对高管薪酬水平的影响。经验结果表明,管理者才能能够提高薪酬的绩效敏感度,而管理者权力却降低了薪酬绩效敏感度。进一步的研究发现,才能对薪酬的贡献依赖于公司规模,随着公司规模的扩大,才能发挥作用的空间越大,高管薪酬水平也就越高。
The level of executive pay and the rate of growth have always been the subject of great concern. This paper uses the pay data of listed banks in our country to discuss the relationship between managers’ ability, power and executive pay and test the effect of market size on executive pay . Empirical results show that managers can improve the performance of salary sensitivity, and managers have reduced the power of pay performance sensitivity. Further research finds that the contribution that can be made to the compensation depends on the size of the company. As the size of the company expands, the greater the space for its function, the higher the executive compensation level.
