This article discusses an improved example of multi-lateral well technology. The new focus is moving away from more and more sophisticated completion equipment towards a simple yet powerful completion. This paper reviews the TAML multi-branch well classification system and traces the development of the multi-branch well completion technology from the first stage to the present. While repeatedly emphasizing the functionality of well completions while re-entering the main wellbore and branch boreholes, the simplicity has been repeatedly emphasized. A prefabricated 6-stage multi-branch well method is proposed. By definition, it is the only method that provides not only simple but also optimal performance. After the discussion, examples of installation, operational matters, eventual efficiency and economy, as well as prospects for further refining the technology, were introduced through examples from Venezuela, Nigeria and the United States
