长江科学院工程安全与病害防治研究所是国内较早开展工程安全与病害防治研究的科研单位之一,现有专业技术人员48人,其中博士、硕士20余人,在水工建筑物安全评估与监控、地质灾害监测与防治,水工建筑物健康诊断及病害防治等方面开展了卓有成效的研究,并为建筑物工程安全提供各类技术服务。先后结合长江三峡、葛洲坝、湖北丹江口、隔河岩、江西万安、云南漫湾、广西岩滩等60多个大、中型水电站工程,开展了大坝安全监测技术、安全监测资料综合分析与反馈分析、大坝等岩土工程的安全评估与安全决策支持系统等方面的研究工作;结合三峡库区,清江库区滑坡及三峡永久船闸高边坡、东风水电站、清江隔河岩电站边坡等具体工程实例进行了地质灾害形成机理,监测技术和预测理论和方法、防灾减灾对策等科学研究。多次荣获湖北省、水利部科技进步奖。近年来,本所注重积极探索新技术、新方法在工程安全和病害防治方面的应用研究,强调学科交叉,把不断提高研究的创新能力放在突出位置,加大了对学科建设的投入力度,使学科的梯队建设不断加强,学科结构得到合理调整,整体实力日益增强,单位的发展跃上了一个新台阶。

Repeatedly won the Hubei Province, Ministry of Water Resources Science and Technology Progress Award. In recent years, the Institute has paid great attention to the active exploration of the application and research of new technologies and new methods in engineering safety and disease prevention and control, emphasizing the interdisciplinary study and putting the innovation capability of research continuously on the prominent position, increasing the investment in discipline construction, The echelon of disciplines has been continuously strengthened, the structure of disciplines has been properly adjusted, the overall strength has been constantly enhanced, and the development of units has risen to a new level.
