磁流体是近年来发展起来的新技术.由于它的用途极其广泛,而引起人们的极大关注.本文结合国内外的最新动向和自己的研究成果,从选矿应用的角度,着重阐述氧化分散法制作铁磁流体的理论根据和实验结果,并列出了它在金矿选别中的使用效果.从而论证了铁磁流体的使用价值和意义.所谓磁流体,是指具有顺磁性和铁磁性的液体。而更有价值的则是以铁磁性微粒分散在各种溶剂中而形成的铁磁流体。它具有很多特殊的性质,有着广泛的应用。不同用途对磁流体的性能要求不同。应用干矿物分离的磁流体要求粘度小、稳定性好和磁化但能高等特点,使用最多的是以烃类油和以寸为基液的铁磁流体。本文主要是从这方面未论述水基磁流体制作和应用的研究结果。实践证明,选用这类高性能的铁磁流体进行矿物的按比重选别,效果是明显的。
