许广平曾说过:爱情的滋生,是漠漠混混、不知不觉的,她跟鲁迅也是不晓得怎么就彼此爱上了。实际上,他们的爱情脉络就是从师生发展到情侣,归根是鲁迅的光辉思想和高尚品格吸引了一个追求光明和真理的女青年。鲁迅曾由家庭包办结婚,但由于出国和动荡的生活,实际上过着独身生活,从未享受到真正的爱情。许广平却真正恋爱过,她1922年考入北平女子高等师范学校后,认识了在北京大学读书的青年李小辉,然而,1924年1月,李小辉因病去世,这使许广平好像受到雷震痛击,
