郑愁予是台湾著名的现代派诗人,是“现代派诗社”的主要成员之一.他的诗借鉴于西方现代派,却又根植于中国传统文化,将意象美,文字美和韵律美融为一体,其中的古典意象更是多得数不胜数,可与唐诗宋词中的意象相媲美,所以在他的他大部分的诗歌中,都呈现出一股浓厚悠扬的古典韵味.
