传统结构的螺杆钻具定子采用内表面为螺旋曲面、并在定子内表面上覆有一层外表面为螺旋面而内表面为圆柱面的不等壁厚橡胶套,该结构在实际工作过程中产生了诸多的不足。文中介绍了新型等壁厚金属定子的形成原理及其优越性,分析了定子与转子的啮合过程及其运动轨迹,阐述了包络加工多头螺旋曲线的原理,并且提出了一种切削加工金属定子的新方案,为确定相应机床结构设计提供了理论基础。
