主持语:“褶曲的时间”——2012陈彧凡新作展在ayegallery展出,这位年轻的艺术家再一次向读者表达着他的艺术主张:艺术没界别,一切皆可能。陈彧凡的创作方式和一些艺术家有所不同,被人们视为充斥着玄学气氛的中国抽象艺术家,是因为他的所有作品都带有试验性。木材、石头、煤块、水晶、丙烯以及油画布这些媒介成为了雕塑家重建作品的切点和入口。一方面他通过某种形式“抽离”图像、另一方面他又把重构的“图像”延升了新的意指,目的是给人们提供了一个独特的、新的观看角度和艺术享受。
