山东农学会于1964年12月6日至11日在济南举行积肥施肥学术讨论会。参加会议的有各专(市)农业科学研究所、省农业科学院的土壤肥料、棉花、花生研究所及同位素研究室、中国农业科学院烟草研究所、山东农学院、山东大学、省农业厅、化工厅、供销总社及部分专区农业技术推广站等单位的代表共45人,收到论文和专题报告共26篇。会议除检阅了肥料科研成果和交流工作经验外,并重点讨论了本省开辟肥源的途径和积肥施肥的技术改革问题。通过论文报告和经验交流,肯定了近几年我省肥料研究所获得的成果。绿肥方面,夏季绿肥以田菁为最好,能耐涝耐碱,生长快,产草量高,不论平原、涝洼、盐碱地都能种植,今后应作广泛地示范;冬季绿肥以毛叶苕子最佳,抗寒性强,越冬率高,耐旱耐瘠,富含氮素,丘陵、平原都宜种植,对玉米、花生、水稻都有增产作用,可以积极研究利用。此外,草木樨、香豆子、紫穗槐也都是有希望的绿肥品种,须在已有基础上作
