Maxim Agam and Yifu Technology Research Institute, Hebrew University, Jerusalem, have recently announced the signing of a cooperative R & D agreement to jointly develop and commercialize a new non-toxic and environmentally friendly biocontrol technology. The new biocontrol agent was invented by Dr. Maggie Levy, Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology, Hebrew University, based on the natural yeast Pseudozyma isolated from strawberry leaves.
