1996年10月,广州医药集团有限公司从原市医药总公司转制,成为授权经营管理国有资产的经济实体,管理属下31家企业的国有资产保值增值的责任。改制两年多来,他们发挥集团公司投资主体作用,以资产为纽带,在实现职能转变同时,也实现了国有资产的增值。去年,集团工业总产值比上年增长9.3%,销售收入增长6%,利润增长10%,国有资产保值增值率达到115%。
