进入新世纪,莱钢将企业文化作为核心竞争力的重要组成部分,创建学习型企业,培育了善于学习、敢于超越、勇于领先的团队,推动了企业持续快速健康发展。莱钢建设学习型企业的实践得到了社会各界的广泛关注,国务院发展研究中心、上海明德学习型组织研究所、山东省经贸委等部门、机构先后在莱钢召开研讨会、现场会,总结推广莱钢经验。2004年,莱钢集团《以提高创造力为核心的学习型企业创建》获得第十届国家管理创新成果一等奖。莱钢先后获得山东省企业文化建设示范单位、中国企业文化建设十佳单位等荣誉称号。
