我县大搞农田防护林带是从1968年开始的。抚育管理好的林带,如黄盖淖公社的林源、林网大队,红圪塄公社的向阳等大队都已郁闭成林,交错成网,初步起到了防风固沙,保护农田的作用。但是,我县的林网化程度发展是很不平衡的:西部几个公社林网化程度比较高,东半部几个公社就比较差;就是在林网化程度比较高的公社里,也还有没有实现林网化的大队;比较差的公社,也有林网化程度比较高的大队。我县共有三级林带:县级林带、社
