According to the latest telecom industry statistics released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, non-voice revenue increased 16.9% in 2012 and accounted for 49.5% (P85) of the telecom revenue. Experts predict that this year’s non-voice revenue will exceed 50% of the watershed. In terms of business structure, the value brought by the traditional telecom services to operators is declining. Mobile communications and broadband continue to play a role as growth engines for the telecommunications industry, and their contribution to income further rises.
