为了提高人口翥质,做好优生优育工作,1987年8月卫生部确立在中国医学科学院、上海医科大学、湖南医科大学设三个国家级遗传医学中心。北京、上海、湖南在优生科研、临床服务、培训人员等方面做了大量工作,实际上已形成这项工作的自然中心。在此基础上利用现有机构,充分挖掘潜力,发挥现有人、财、物的作用,确立了这三个国家级遗传医学中心,由于长期以来形成的工作格局,这三个中心在组织形式上又各不相同。“北京·中国遗传医学中心”设在中国医学科学院,由基础医学研究所医学遗传室和北京协和医院儿科、妇产科组成。“上海·中国遗传医学中心”设在上海医科大学,由上海医科大学牵头,以联合体的形式组成。下设四部,细胞遗传部设在上海医科大学遗传医学研究室;遗传代谢病部设在上海市新华医院儿科研究所:遗传咨询与优生部设在上海铁道医学院;基因诊断部设在上海市儿童医院。“湖南·中国遗传医学中心”设在湖南医科大学遗传研究室。
In order to improve the quality of the population and do a good job in eugenics, in August 1987, the Ministry of Health established three national-level genetic medical centers at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Shanghai Medical University, and Hunan Medical University. Beijing, Shanghai, and Hunan have done a lot of work in eugenic research, clinical services, and training personnel, and have actually formed a natural center for this work. On this basis, existing institutions are used to fully tap potentials, and the existing human, financial, and material functions are utilized. These three national-level genetic medical centers have been established. Due to the long-established work pattern, the three centers are in organizational form. It’s different. The “Beijing China Genetic Medical Center” is set up at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. It consists of the Medical Genetics Department of the Institute of Basic Medicine and Pediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynecology of Peking Union Medical College Hospital. The “Shanghai China Genetic Medical Center” is based at Shanghai Medical University and is led by Shanghai Medical University. It is formed as a consortium. It consists of four departments, the Department of Cell Genetics at the Medical Genetics Laboratory of Shanghai Medical University, and the Department of Infant Metabolism at the Pediatric Research Institute of Shanghai Xinhua Hospital: The Genetic Counseling and Excellence Department is located at Shanghai Railway Medical College; the Department of Genetic Diagnosis is located in Shanghai. Children’s Hospital. “Hunan China Genetic Medical Center” is located in the Genetics Research Department of Hunan Medical University.
