According to the nationwide distribution of elements in the geochemical mapping of moraines, organic sediments and aquifer water, hazardous areas where groundwater is seriously polluted are circled. These areas were compared with those areas where the concentrations of the same elements in the well of the groundwater were higher than the water quality indicators at that time. All data are from the Geochemical Database of Finnish Geological Survey. Some of the elements (such as Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni and Zn) are abnormally concentrated in the fine-grained moraines in five areas. In many groundwater samples taken from these areas. The concentrations of Mn and Ni that are drilled into the wellbore water and the concentrations of Ni and Zn in normal well water are outside the allowable range. Concentrations of Cr and Cu in groundwater slightly increased in the same area but did not exceed the recommended range for these elements. The areas of high arsenic concentrations that are drilled into bedrock wells correlate with areas of high risk of being encircled by geochemical and organic water sediments from moraines. The abnormalities of F in the aquifer and groundwater are similar. Concentrations of potentially toxic elements caused by geology in groundwater usually appear in areas that can be excavated from geochemical maps sampled from moraines, aquifer and sediments. However, based on census geochemical maps, it is not possible to identify all wells of poor groundwater quality.
