中国农业科学院作物育种栽培研究所利用地热温室进行冬小麦加速世代获得成功。1987年2月的北方还处在寒冷季节,地热温室种植的小麦已经灌浆。这批小麦育种材料,系1986年秋季在北京田间播种,11月份移入地热温室,1987年2月底收获,接着再在高寒地区春播,8月份收获后,9月又回北京秋播。这样,小麦育种材料便可以在一年内完成两个世代。这种方法不仅可以用于冬小麦育种材料加速世代,而且还可以用于小麦新品种加速繁殖。
Institute of Crop Breeding and Cultivation, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Successfully Accelerated Generation of Winter Wheat with Geothermal Greenhouse. The north of February 1987 was still in the cold season with wheat planted in the geothermal greenhouses already grouted. The wheat breeding materials were sowed in Beijing in the autumn of 1986 and moved into geothermal greenhouses in November. They were harvested at the end of February 1987 and were sowed in spring in spring. After harvesting in August, they were returned to Beijing in autumn. In this way, wheat breeding material can be completed in two years in a single year. This method can not only be used to accelerate the generation of winter wheat breeding materials, but also can be used to accelerate the propagation of new wheat varieties.
