Buried automatic defibrillators continue to monitor heart rate, identify ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia, discharge defibrillation when needed, and provide a diagnostic-treatment system for those prone to sudden cardiac death. It can correct malignant ventricular tachyarrhythmia without the presence of medical staff and without additional equipment. This article reports 16 cases of clinical use of buried automatic defibrillator experience.
