Arsenic in the environment is methylated and inorganic in two forms. The toxicity of an element depends on its chemical form, which is also true for arsenic, which is crucial for the determination of different forms of arsenic in environmental and biological samples. Common methods for the determination of arsenic include molecular absorption spectrometry, neutron activation analysis (NAA), polarography, atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS), flameless atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS)
