网络广告的突飞猛进,引起了行业的高度重视。2003年,以网易为首的互联网公司与中华广告网率先发出举办中国网络广告大赛的倡议,得到了中国广告协会的支持。于是由中国广告协会主办,中华广告网承办,网易、新浪、搜狐等国内领先门户网站协办的首届中国网络广告大赛2003年诞生。大赛旨在发动网络广告的从业者、网络媒体、企业广告主等能够从制作、创意的角度,结合网络媒体的特性,共同探讨网络广告无限自由的表现形式和在网络营销中的特殊价值,从而推动整个网络广告行业的发展。
