据1950—1979年统计,长江宜昌站年输沙量为5.14亿吨;自1980—1986年的7年间,宜昌站年输沙量为5.959亿吨,增加了16%。宜昌站最大输沙量和最大含沙量,均发生于1981年。当年输沙量为8.32亿吨,年每立方米含沙量为1.88公斤,比1954年的年输沙量和年每立方米的含沙量分别增加10%和43%。由于中上游人口剧增,大肆毁林开荒,大中小型水库拦蓄泥沙作用逐渐消失,河流泥沙有恶化的趋势。目前,长江流域严重的水土流失必须综合治理,光山秃岭要尽快绿化,人为破坏要认真遏止,不然,长江变成第二黄河将指日可待。
According to the statistics of 1950-1979, the annual sediment discharge of Yichang Station in the Yangtze River reached 514 million tons. From 1997 to 1986, the annual sediment discharge of Yichang Station was 595.9 million tons, an increase of 16%. Yichang station maximum sediment concentration and maximum sediment concentration, all occurred in 1981. In the same year, the amount of sediment transported was 832 million tons and the annual sediment concentration per cubic meter was 1.88 kg, which was 10% and 43% more than the annual sediment load in 1954 and the sediment concentration in cubic meters per year respectively. Due to the dramatic increase of middle and upper reaches of the population, wantonly deforestation, large and small reservoirs blocking the role of sediment gradually disappear, river sediment deterioration. At present, the serious soil and water loss in the Yangtze River Basin must be comprehensively managed. The green hills and valleys in Guangshan County should be greeneered as soon as possible, and man-made damage must be conscientiously stopped. Otherwise, the Yangtze River will become the second Yellow River just around the corner.
